I had a steak you could cut with a feather. Now I knew coming to Ruth's, that I would be shelling out some dough for this meal so I was prepared. Anybody complains about the price should go hit up Applebee's. I took my girlfriend, two amazing stakes and a side of asparagus,(That I think was grown in heaven) no drinks, $101.78. Ok, thats a big chunk of change sure, however look people, this is Park City and your at a Ruth's Chris in Park City. Treat yourself and splurge a little. Just dont make the mistake I did and wear a T-shirt. I got a couple looks over my very casual appearance.

This is possibly the worst Ruth's I've ever been to across the USA. With reservations made days in advance, they tried to glorify their invitation for us to sit in the Crescent Room with a view. What a joke. This room looks like a holdover from an old Steak and Ale restaurant or a Red Lobster! The staff at the front are young and nice but really don't have a clue how to manage their function with Ruth 'a otherwise well known popularity. Ruth would be tossing in her Metairie, LA mausoleum. Attitude is just to get you seated someplace and could really care less. What is it with restaurants today, here everyone wants to ask "what are WE thinking about tonight or what are WE having for a cocktail". Who's this WE, are they joining us or going to pay for the bill? How about what would YOU like this evening. There ain't no WE in this process. Most times I prefer to sit and enjoy a meal without the constant removal of plates or empty glasses. It's really ok to leave the table alone until both parties have finished their meal. As they running short of dishes in the back that necessitates to prompt removal of dishes as soon as the last bite is in your mouth? I could go on but one must consider much better options in the Park City area that are far ahead of this!

If you want cutting edge, modern cuisine, stay away! If you want a basic steakhouse experience, Ruth's Chris's is pretty reliable. After a hard day of skiing, simple steaks done right was what we were looking for and that is what we got at Ruth's Chris. The (primarily) serve large cuts of USDA Prime beef, lightly seasoned, sizzling with butter. The steaks were tasty and cooked as ordered. The classic sides we got with them (Potatoes au gratin, and creamed spinich.) were also good. It is not hard to cook a quality steak, but Ruth's Chris has got it down. Desserts were disappointing. They were preposterously large and not particularly well done. I had the molten chocolate cake which was a bit mushy and too sweet, and my brother had the cheesecake which was a bit better but not stellar. The service we had was excellent and prompt. This surprised and impressed us because the place was pretty crowded due to the Sundance Film Festival in town.

Yes, it's a bit expensive, but the food and service could simply not be better. Called around 730, asked if I could get a table outside, no problem. When I arrived it was a bit cold so I asked for a booth, no problem and they were busy. Salad, steak & sides were perfect. Could not have asked for a better experience. Been there before and I'll be back again soon.

We've been there before and loved it, the food is perfect every time. The sever and staff were not as good as last time, they were nice but you could tell that they didn't mean it. The minute they knew we didn't drink alcohol they seemed to treat us as second class.

Came here for appetizers after a round of golf. Good service, and the views are spectacular. Nice outdoor seating. Just left before some live music began. 4 rating is really for the lobster appetizer we had. Did not have the steak during this visit.
I am surprised by the low rating for this restaurant. It definitely is on par with the the Ruth's Chris brand, which is always good. I am a part time Park City resident, and have been to every restaurant in Park City and compared to the other steakhouses in town (Prime, Butchers) Ruth's Chris is consistently my favorite. In the summer they have great dinner deals deals and they have some of the best outdoor dining in town. The best part of this restaurant is their service! If anyone reading this review has ever tried to make reservations around Christmas and New Year's in this town you know how obnoxious and snobby may restaurants can be. This is definitely not the case with Ruth's Chris. They are fabulous about big groups (which many restaurants in PC cannot comfortably accommodate) and they are so nice about making reservations!! They are very accommodating and will try to work with you on a reservation instead of giving the oh-so-familiar "we're booked" line. I cannot reiterate how great this restaurant is for groups! It's very spacious unlike many main street restaurants. The only downside is it's not authentically Park City. If you are visiting from a city that has a Ruth's Chris the only draw would be the summer outdoor dining. The restaurants on Main Street are more attractive for first time visitors, but if you are a seasoned visitor or resident, I would highly recommend this restaurant, because it has great food for the price and good atmosphere!

Let's start by the fact that the recommendation from the Waitress was right on! The Venison with it's Blacberry sauce was outstanding! I even dipped my steak in it! I think it should be a staple offered sauce. Wow! As for sides the skinny fresh cut fries are so yummy and we dipped them in the sauce that usually is served with the onion rings which is another delicious sauce. Now as for the waitress Erin, what a great personality and her service was perfect. We loved how she shared some of her knowledge with us too. Overall a great dinner, with a great waitress, at a great restaurant in a great hotel (Hotel Park City)!

We've heard so many good things about Ruth's Chris in general, so we decided to splurge when we saw this place on our way to visit Park City this summer. Our waiter, Chris (we joked about him belonging to Ruth), was amazing. His presentation of the menu had us mesmerized as he succinctly described the many choices, especially the melt-in-your-mouth ribeye being served on a 500° hot plate swimming in a pool of melted butter. Food was good, but not the best we've ever tasted. My medium rare ribeye was a bit chewy, not very melt-in-your-mouth. It made me wonder if we got a lower cut of beef because we ordered the dinner special. Our dinner special came with a choice of meat (ribeye, filet mignonand a couple others), 2 sides, and a dessert. Creamed spinach was good. Mushrooms were just okay. Dessert was a raspberry chocolate cake with ice cream. A bit disappointing--not very sweet and lacked flavor. Surprise was the drinks that our teenage kids ordered--Shirley Temples--were refillable. The strange part was that our waiter Chris stopped coming around after a while. We sat for a long time, waiting for our dessert. Maybe he was on a break. But he made up for it by bringing extra desserts. For the price we paid, this place wasn't worth it. I'd give 2 stars, but the service was excellent, and my husband was really happy about his meal (he must've gotten a better cut of ribeye.)
I must say that I'm a little baffled about the negative reviews. I could guess at the reasons, but I'll leave that to you. We started our experience by booking online and leaving an extra comment in the form. Upon arrival, we were welcomed professionally, AND with a brief acknowledgment of the comment. They have their reservation process working well. The service started promptly, but was not rushed...what you would expect when you want to enjoy a leisurely dinner with a view of the mountains. We opted for corkage and brought our own wine, and did not feel slighted in any way by the staff. A decanter was offered and accepted. One reviewer has previously mentioned the size of the martinis due to the Utah liquor laws. He was right. That said, it was done impeccably and if I recall correctly, cheaper than other Ruth's we've been to in the past. We started by sharing the barbecue shrimp appetizer. Large shrimp, prepared perfectly served with their outstanding sauce. Save some of the fresh sourdough, you'll want to experience every drop. M stayed with the standard surf and turf. The steak was cooked to perfection, and was an extremely flavorful filet. Complemented with the Lyonnaise potatoes, it was a perfect meal. I ventured out to the venison chops and was thoroughly impressed. No gamy flavor whatsoever, and served with a red wine, blackberry reduction sauce that was heavenly. I need to learn to replicate this one! Ruth's delivers on what it is designed to be, and their Park City rendition is as good as any I've been to. And remember, you're in Park City...wear what you want and fit right in. Add the beautiful views to the impeccable service and excellent preparation and presentation of the food...what do you want?

Ok.. I hate rude service.. That is my biggest pet peeve about ANY retail establishment. This restaurant takes the cake. We went as a family for dinner. My son (15) is handicapped, and they were offensive about where they would place (seat) us. My son is not loud, obnoxious, rude, nor does he spit, drool, or make scenes. I would not take him to a dining establishment if I did not feel he could handle it. He does not have a wheelchair, and sat in the booth with us. I started the meal PISSED OFF. It took about 10 minutes to get menus. Then another 10 to get water, bread, etc. This was over the 4th of July weekend so it was damn hot and we were hungry, had been on the lake all day, you can imagine. After another 20 minutes a BUSBOY came over and asked if he could get us some drinks. We were so happy and gave him our order. He brought them right out. Finally a huffy puffy asshole french waiter came out and asked if we knew what we wanted. No specials were read to us, nada. We did, and placed our orders. He had the audacity to ask if my son would eat an entire new york steak when we ordered that for him. I almost punched him right where it counts but I did not want to embarrass my husband and older son. The food came out, it was good, steaks were cooked well, and the Asparagus was fantastic, but everything was tainted because of the service. We never had our drinks refilled, and I finally ended up setting a credit card on the edge of the table to show that we wanted to leave. As we were leaving the busboy came over and helped myself and my son out of the booth. This is one reason to not ignore tipping. I know that they split them (or are supposed to) and he was the only saving grace that this restaurant has. The Ruth's Chris in San Fran is nothing like this, and the one in Salt Lake is better too... (although I prefer Spencer's in SLC.)

We tried to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary with family at your Park City location. We made arrangements several weeks prior with the catering manager and confirmed the afternoon before our reservations. It was the absolute worst experience we haveever had in a resturant. It took at least 30-minutes to get drinks brought to the table. Once we were able to finally order meals all were delivered except my wife's and another guest. We questioned several times and were told repeatedly that they were on their way. They finally arrived another 30-minutes later- after our guest had eaten and all the ides were cold. Keep in mind that ths was my wife's 30th Wedding Anniversary! The manager agreed to comp the two steaks which is poreciated. Our night once in a lifetime was made memorable by Ruth Chris- a VERY BAD memory!!!! Absolute disaster of a night. I can not say how disappointed we re in this resturant. We paid $1,600 for this disaster. Lesson learned- will never go to another Ruth Chris!

Ruth Chris puts out good steaks, cooked well...consistently. For me its nothing special, and I'd recommend a non-chain place like Prime. Crab cake and lobster tail were both very good so points for tasty non-steak items.

Perfect ribeye! The lobster tail was OK but the prime steak was perfectly done and service was excellent too.

It's scary to read about other people's experiences here, but ours was fantastic. We had Liis as our waitress and she was fantastic and very attentive. If service was rated by itself, it would be 5 stars. We had Jared for the water/bus guy. He was very attentive too, always there to fill our water glasses with Pelli. The food was great, everything tasted how it should taste from a Ruth's Chris. After a while you get nauseated when they bring out other people's steaks from the butter smell... Yeeech!!!

On one hand, the food was great. The meals and sides are perfectly seasoned that they taste great no matter how they are cooked. The reason this place is only getting two stars is because the service isn't that great. It was not busy at all when we went to eat and it took over 2.5 hours from the time we sat down to the time we left. I know that fancy restaurants may choose to slow things down so we can savor the experience, but when the waiter tells us the food will be out in 10 minutes and it really takes 30 minutes, thats too long. Throughout the meal there were a number of minor inconveniences, from the steaks being somewhat overcooked to them accidentally throwing out our leftovers. None of these inconveniences completely ruined our experience, but all together it made us not want to go a second time.

Been 2x in last week. First time service was good but few guests. Steak was swimming in butter. Overall, good experience. Second visit place was busy. Service was slow. No apologies. Ordered steak with no butter but again came swimming in butter. When we asked to correct they noted no issue. "We will run it back and sear off the butter." When I asked would that would over cook I was told no and all would be perfect. Steak was returned overdone. Rather than complain again, we paid the bill and left. Given the price, the experience should be consistent and excellent. To many other steak houses in town that care about the their product.

It's off season in Park City, so the place is fairly quiet on Sunday night! We got a table with view of pool and golf course! (good or bad view depends on who r in the hot-tub! Not so appealing this evening!) We ordered Fillet and lamb chops, both media rare! The fillet was as juicy and tender as it can be; the lamb chops r crispy outside n tender inside! Perfect! Service was fast and pleasant! Highly recommend if u want somewhere relaxing n cozy!
Very good food, good steaks and sides, pricey but good for special occasions.

I had a big day on the mountain and I needed to grub big time, so it was off to Ruth's Chris. Known commodity because they are a chain, so I figured I was in for an excellent meal. First problem, the parking. No valet and the self parking was nearly non-existent. Then the hotel's van driver nearly ran me over as I walked to the door. Despite the falling snow, I was apparently in his way. Nice way to start.... not! OK, we know about the bar stuff in Utah, so I won't hold my weak bourbon and coke against them. I do however give them bonus points for having Sam Adams Light. Not many places stock this wonderful brew. On to the food... the chop salad is probably second only to Strip Steak's Wedge in my opinion. Very well balanced and interesting flavors. The main course however was not quite up to the Ruth's standard. The steak was good, not great. The plate was even more overloaded with butter than usual. The one-pound baked potato was no near one pound and was very sloppily put together. Most of the sour cream was outside the potato as was all of the bacon and there was melted butter running everywhere. Really disappointing to see such hap-hazard preparation from a chain known for their excellence. I expect more of a Ruth's Chris and this location missed the mark with the main course. Add that in with the poor location choice and it just was not what I'd expect from a Ruth's Chris experience.

If I could put negative amount of stars I would. I forgot why I don't eat here. The server was rude, one of the steaks came out med well instead of med rare, my steak and green beans were served in two inches of butter. This is why I don't like chains, well one of many reasons. Seriously I would never eat here again, I said this 2 or 3 years ago but must have lost my mind to go to another one. If you want a good steak in PC go to Prime or if you want the best in Utah go to the Steak Pit.

Thanksgiving meal totally hit the spot!!! We knew the steaks were awesome so the turkey had to be and we were not wrong! The meal was fantastic and the sweet potato casserole is like dessert! The goodie bag at the end is over the top and just made the night even better.

In my opinion, high-end steak houses are the biggest rip-offs in the restaurant business. And Ruth's Chris is no exception. I'm not averse to spending good money on good food. I routinely shell out a hundred bucks for a sushi orgy at Ginza, and I'd take out a second mortgage for an evening of bliss at Eva or Martine. But my experience at Ruth's Chris was regrettable. My wife's forty dollar meal consisted of a tiny, nondescript fillet topped with overcooked and rubbery shrimp in a pool of butter, a plate of squeaky green beans with burnt garlic, and a completely pedestrian mixed salad. My "crabtini" appetizer was better. Large hunks of lumb crab meat with citrus juices served in a martini glass. Sort of a crab ceviche. But my lobster tail was uninspired and boring. And eight bucks for a baked potato? For that price I should have gotten shaved truffles on top instead of the tablespoon of sour cream and anemic sprinkling of chives that was my unfortunate reality.. The service was slow, and a bit pretentious, as our server simply ignored my wife's request for cocktail sauce with our calamari. A well mixed Rusty Nail cocktail (forget the obscenely overpriced wine list), and an acceptable creme brulee for dessert saved the evening from being a complete disaster. I'm making a resolution. No more Spencer's, no more Fleming's, no more Ruby River, and certainly no more Ruth's Chris. All my steaks from now on will come from Costco, and will be grilled to perfection in my own backyard.

They have good food but the waiters have always been slow & bring my food out cold. I don't know what it takes to get good service here, I have been twice, just my girlfriend and I, and have gotten crappy service twice now. Not quite what I expect from a $100+ meal for 2! I am very courteous & have never given a waiter a reason to provide poor service, I just don't get it. I don't think I will be back again, I will stick with another 'chain' steak house where I seem to always get great service & food.

I have always been a big fan of the steaks at Ruth's Chris. Consistently excellent steaks with no drama. This location, which is brand new and found in the Hotel Park City, is no exception. My bone-in ribeye was bubbling in the 500 degree buttery goodness that I've come to expect from RC. The food was very good, as was the service, and location is pretty close to main street. However, the booze is subject to the asinine Utah liquor laws. Which means my friend's martini glass was not even half full. And my scotch was finished in one sip. I guess thats par for the course in Utah, but it still blows.

Great surf and turf...and spinach casserole...I love that it's served piping hot!!!!!!!!
Had multiple meals here during our stay and enjoyed every bite. The service, food and selection was on par for Ruth's Chris and compared to the other options the price was on point. Because of their location we were able to have food brought up to our room so can not speak to the dine-in service but everyone we dealt with from ordering to delivery was professional and polite. The location and views are beautiful and an added bonus given that other Ruth's Chris I've been to had no views and feel a tad compact. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is that I am not a huge fan of their limited menu. I personally would like to see a little more variety however, it is now and has always been a Steak House so this is nothing that I suspect they plan on changing anytime, ever. All things considered this is a great place to dine in or have brought to your room!

I hate to be "just another 5-Star" but seriously? People giving this place anything less need to pull the ginormous t-bone out of their butt. This place is awesome. If you're on any kind of a budget, I'd steer clear, but if your company is paying... WHADDUP. I always go for the cowboy ribeye. 20 oz of pure awesome. They cook all of their steaks in a 1800° F oven causing the juices to remain locked in the meat, while marrow in the bone pops instantly, flavoring the entire steak.(Whenever I go, I ask them to explain the cooking process to me... Somehow it just makes it taste that much better). I get bleu cheese crust, and shrimp on top to accent the meat. Never been disappointed. This last time, I was with three other guys so we tried a variety of appetizers and sides. The stuffed mushrooms are pretty good, and the ravioli isn't bad either. I had lobster mac and cheese as a side, along with some mashed potatoes. To drink, I always get a virgin (I don't drink alcohol) piña colada. It's better than you'd think, and you can taste real coconut chunks in the drink. If you're in park city, make the stop. You won't be disappointed.

This was my first time at any Ruth's Chris, and I was excited to enjoy lunch there. The service was excellent (though not particularly prompt ... it wasn't slow, but it could have been a little better), and the food was really delicious. My husband and I shared the calamari appetizer (the breading was light and crisp, and the Asian chile sauce drizzled over it was very tasty), and he ordered the steak sandwich while I ordered the tenderloin salad. We were both pleased with our choices; his steak sandwich was served on toasted garlic bread with a bearnaise sauce, so it was definitely full of flavor, and my salad was tossed in a very light vinaigrette and had the sliced tenderloin on the side, atop a bed of asparagus. I was pleased to have my steak cooked to perfection; I always order medium and rarely get that, but it was perfect! All this being said, it is a chain restaurant, and I am not a steak connoisseur, so I'm fairly certain someone could find a better steak somewhere else. However, Ruth's Chris was very, very good, is in a great location (we dined al fresco by the pool of Hotel Park City), and is reasonably priced.
Excellent service. Hands down the best steak and lobster that I have ever had. I can't wait to come back for Mother's Day. You have to try the sizzling blue crab cakes. Yum!!! I also love the fact you can make a reservation online!

I've been here twice. The first time was on Valentines day. Bad idea! Granted they were busy the service was slacking. I decided to give it another chance because I had a coupon for buy one get one free so why not. We went for lunch and it wasn't busy, service was good and the food was good! Try the ahi tuna appetizer!

Brought my girl here, best filet she said she's ever had and I feel the same. She ordered medium rare, it came out way over done, medium well, i mentioned this and the waitress had a perfect butter popping medium rare filet back in less than 2 minutes.

Went here with a party of 7 while my family was on vacation in the area. This is not the first time we have been to a Ruth's Chris, so we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. The building is beautiful as is the surrounding grounds. We ordered multiple steaks, a halibut, many with crab cake and/or shrimp toppings. Everything was excellent with the exception of one steak not being cooked properly. (Sorry, but when you are paying $50 for a steak, it better be cooked the way you ordered...)

Three of us dined at the Park City location last night. We waited 15 minutes after our reservation to get seated, we then waited another 15 minutes to finally get water, our waiter Dryke was very apologetic and professional but we just couldn't understand why we had to ask again for water during our meal!! We also had to ask for our bill!! The meal was very good but the service was very disappointing!!! Not only were we neglected but so was the couple beside us and the table past them actually got up and left!!! Our bill was over $250.00 and we will never go back!

I've never been told by a server to "F!#?k off" before. We ordered at 6:30. Our salads came out almost immediately. At 7:00, I asked our waiter/bartender, Justin, about our dinner. He said it would be right out, but never came back. At 7:30, I asked him again, and again he said it would be right out, and, again, he never came back. Finally, at 7:45, with Justin behind the bar, I got up and asked him when our dinner would be out. He rudely snapped back, "What do you want me to do?" I said, "I would like you to bring us our dinner." Finally, at 8, we were served. On my way out, I stopped at the bar to tell Justin there were no hard feelings. As I was walking away, he said in front of other patrons, "Next time, leave your attitude at home," and added, when I turned around, "F!#?k off." I'm not kidding. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced. I told the story to the manager on my way out, and he assured me Justin would be fired, but he is still working there. I shared this story with the new manager, as well as the hotel manager and Ruth's Chris corporate, and to date, have gotten no response. By the way, this is not a one-time event with slow service. RC is known amongst the locals for slow service. The food is good, but I would stick with Prime or Butchers in Park City if you want equally good food, but with better atmosphere and much more professional service.

I came here with my four children all 13 years old and younger. Food was terrific but I have to say the service was even better. Our server, Michael Teranes, was very helpful with picking out exactly what the kids would like. He interacted very well with them allowing me to relax and enjoy my meal. Overall the experience was amazing and we will return the next time we are in Park City!

This place is on the spendy side, but it's worth it you want some great steaks! After a day of skiing, this place was a great way to end the day. Our server (Bobbi) was wonderful! She did a fantastic job during our visit! This was our first visit to Ruth's Chris and she was very informative. For an appetizer we ordered the crabtini. It was pretty good and had a horseradish type sauce for the dressing on the crab. It was big enough for the two of us to split. For steaks, we each ordered the small fillet and it was plenty of meat for each of us. We each ordered them medium rare and they were perfect! I added the shrimp to mine and we split those. For a side dish (because they are so big) we split the broccoli au gratin. It was a great side to the steaks. It was a great place, and upscale atmosphere! From our table we were able to look at Park City Mountain....what a great view! We will be back!

Very good meL for 7 plus child. Lamb chops were superb. Would have liked mint jelly on yhe side, but having been marinated in mint and served on minted butter was a good second. Everyone's meat came as ordered. I would omit the French fried onion rings. Very big and batter will not stick to the rings. My corn chowder was perfect. The chopped salad was a meal in itself.

GREAT Steaks and food. Great atmosphere. Sides are smaller than they lead us to believe. Pricey.
I've been here twice. I've also made an effort ahead of time to make it the meal I wanted. When it comes to food and meat, Ruth's Chris is interchangeable with many others. One difference is the many others aren't in Utah. Ruth's Chris is. While Salt Lake City has the same food, the location in PC with that fantastic desk beats it out. When the sun is going down, and you have a nice deck seat, the view doesn't get better. If the food is prepared properly, and the service is competent, everything is golden. No, they don't have dry aged meat, but then Flemings and Spencers don't either. Our market doesn't seem to demand it. They do have all the standard food. Skip the asparagus, unless you want it cooked to slightly mushy status. Other than that, it's all been pretty good.

Beautiful restaurant for sure, very romantic if you're on a date... however... BRUTAL service and out of three things we ordered. We came at 8pm on a Saturday night... Where do I start? We were in town for Sundance and there was no way I was going to literally pay $70 for a 'price fix' menu for Mexican food on Main Street (one app, one entree). So, we came here. Sat down, ordered drinks. Two wines my friend ordered were out, she ordered something else. They took forever and a day to arrive, had to remind the server about them but the busboy actually got them for us. For dinner, my friend ordered a ribeye with a sides of broccoli and baked potato. I ordered a filet with a side of mashed potatoes. I never have steak without mashed potatoes, it's a staple in any steakhouse. Right? So... it was a long, long wait again... then the waiter comes out and tells me there are no more mashed potatoes. WHAT? No mashed potatoes... at a STEAKHOUSE? ON A SATURDAY NIGHT!!!? How in the hell does that happen? He said, "Can I offer you Potatoes Au Gratin... maybe you can mash them up?" I assumed he meant as a "comp" since my order wasn't available. I hate Potatoes Au Gratin and I was just going to not have anything but he kept pushing it, okay, fine... I'll just poke at those. Nah, those were on the bill, $10 for something I didn't want. Thanks pal. The steak was top notch. However, my friend's broccoli was awful, like something out of a microwave, she didn't touch it. Then, dessert. We ordered creme brulee. After about ten minutes, the waiter comes out and says, "Sorry, we're also out of creme brulee... but we can comp you something else, take care of it for you." Oh, NOW you want to comp something that you don't have in stock? But as he was saying it, the busboy or his helper came out with the order. He was like, "Whoops, that was for another table but we'll tell them it's out of stock." There was a table of about 10 and he didn't want to short-change them, instead, was going to take care of them and leave us hanging, so he can focus on his big tip there... but the 'helper' brought it to the wrong table. I've been to Ruth's Chris enough to know that this isn't typical but the horrible service, BASIC things being out of stock, slow/vacant service, etc. It's sooooo standard to comp someone when they aren't getting what they ordered or asked for. You never, ever give someone something they didn't want in the first place and charge full price for it... it's just tacky, but this server clearly had no problem with it. Like an idiot, I still tipped 20% but in retrospect, I shouldn't have. I hope management sees this and stops being cheap. It's friggin' mashed potatoes... they hardly cost anything. You'd rather make more than you need because it's SATURDAY NIGHT!!!! You'd rather throw away extra than not have enough because you're being cheap. And that's the overall impression I got with this meal... just cheap and cheated. You don't pay almost $50 for a steak to have this kind of garbage service. When it's Sundance week... Saturday night... bring your A game. This was so disappointing.

Porter house for two was the best steak I ever had! They offer a nice selection of cocktails and delicious deserts. All of witch is accompanied by a nice ambiance and great service! 6.3/5 stars

Edit: I have been contacted by the General Manager who has apologized and assured me that the issues I experienced have been addressed. I will try it again and update my review when I do. Previous Review: 1 star :Hands down the worst dining experience have had. They were out of potatoes, and shrimp cocktail. Made us wait 30 minutes after a reservation. The manager acted like our complaints were trivial and we were over reacting. When he heard us say in private conversation, "What is this, Denny's?" He returned to our table and made a show of 'inviting us to leave' for the comment. We did so happily. This review was deleted. Ruths Chris reinforced their inability at customer service and never contacted me with an apology in response. I will never eat at a Ruths Chris again. (also removed the comment that they paid to have my review removed. I do not know that they paid, I only know my review had to be replaced 3 times)

Excellent service. Delicious food. Desserts to die for. We were there for the 4th of July and it was awesome!
Tonight's meal was vintage Ruth's Chris. Everything was to perfection. The Steak was perfect the Salmon was perfect and the servers and staff were perfect as well. We will be back.

RC is always pretty awesome. There is something awesome about the one in Park City though. I'll always go there over the one in Salt Lake...to date this is the best bone in filet mignon I've experienced. Get it!

I have been to this location twice, both for birthday parties. I hate to say it, but some of the worst steak I have ever had in my life came from Ruth's Chris. On each visit I ordered the Cowboy Cut Ribeye and was disappointed each time. When I'm dropping 50 bucks just on a steak it better knock my socks off. I have had better steaks at Sizzler. On my last visit our server took our orders, brought out our food and had to be tracked down just to get a refill on our drinks and we never saw her again until the bill came. My bill was well over 150 dollars and had a nice 18 percent tip tacked on because of our group. I guess the server did a crappy job because she knew she had a guaranteed tip?

Ok... Mortons and The Palm are better. That being said, if you're in Park City, on an expense account, and want a decent steak - this will do the trick.

We celebrated a birthday at RC of Park City last night and everything was wonderful. We brought our own wine and the waiter was not condescending which can be the case in a restaurant like this. The food and service were spectacular (thanks Michael). Last year we had been disappointed for this birthday but whatever was wrong is now fixed.

I've been here three times now. It's a convenient spot for me, but each time I've come hoping for a better experience and walked away underwhelmed. The food is mediocre at best. I tried the lobster mac and cheese tonight. The lobster is over cooked, and the cheese sauce tastes like it is out of a packet. The steak was prepared well in terms of temp, but the quality of meat is not up to snuff. There are much better places in Park City.

Having experienced Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Naples, Fla., Tampa, Fla, Knoxville, TN., Raleigh, NC. I was prepared for a previously wonderful experience. The lobster Mac n Cheese was not hot, the lobster was fishy tasting! My filet was floating in too much butter. My companions meals were not good either. One ordered the salmon with root veggies! The salmon was overcooked and there where chunks of unidentifiable veggies with broccoli. My other companion order the Mixed Grill. The filet tasted like Pot Roast, the crab cake was fishy, and she didn't even eat the tomato ... She gave up! When we asked the waiter to split out check, he said he was not allowed to? But did. We were very sad as my one companion had never experienced Ruth's Chris before and won't again! Park City get it together!

Be prepared to pay the price. The food is worth it. The service is worth it. Went here for my 10 year anniversary and had a surprise for my wife. The staff at Ruth Chris was more that happy to accommodate me in what I needed.

We had dinner here 2 nights in a row, the food was excellent and the service was great, very attentive . We love the lobster rolls and can't beat the happy hour price of $7 offered from 4 to 6 as well as the fact that they now serve lunch. You can't beat the location in The Hotel Park City, dining on the back deck over looking the beautiful Park City mountains, feeling the gentle breeze and hearing the birds sing ! I am very excited about the new management and will return for sure !

Had an excellent waitress who was very attentive and recommended a great bottle of wine for us to enjoy during dinner. Obviously the place is pricey but it is very well worth the price for everything. We were celebrating my gf birthday and she gave us the desert on the house! Which I thought was great because usually restaurants will give you a tiny desert when it's your birthday but we got to choose whatever we wanted from the menu. Great experience, called and made the reservations the same day. Didn't have any issues at all.

It's ruth's chris. So it's a rip off. However, with that said, the steak was good... not the best I've ever had, but good. Then again for the price it's really not worth it. It's in a hotel and it's very nice inside, the service is good. Other than that, I would try some of the other places in town before going here, it's a bit of a tourist trap.

This place is great! The atmosphere, food and service all lived up to (or exceeded) my expectations. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and paid special attention to my 5yr old to be sure she had a great time/meal. We will be back.

I don't like chain restaurants and I am not a big fan of Ruth's Chris. We came here only because we were staying at Hotel Park City and it was easy. I will say that the restaurant is very pretty and comfort table, but it went downhill from there. The service is sloooooowwwww. It took forever to get drinks, wine and some bread on the table, despite the fact that the restaurant was pretty much empty at 6PM. Ruth's Chris has a service mode where they want you all to get appetizers, then order an incredibly rich entree with another incredibly rich side dish (everything is ala carte) and take a really long time serving everything so you keep drinking their expensive wine. And that is exactly what we got sucked into. By the time my entree of Swordfish (topped with shrimp drenched in butter) arrived, I was stuffed to the gills, and so was everyone else. Everything was drenched in butter, cheese, oil and FAT. Our main server was incredibly rude and brusque with us, and spent the majority of his time trying to up sell us on just about everything. No thanks.

Yeeech!!!
(3)
Tony K.

No thanks.

6.3/5 stars

Yeeech!!!

6.3/5 stars

(3)John W.
(5)Andrew J.
We've been there before and loved it, the food is perfect every time. The sever and staff were not as good as last time, they were nice but you could tell that they didn't mean it. The minute they knew we didn't drink alcohol they seemed to treat us as second class.
(3)Kris B.
Came here for appetizers after a round of golf. Good service, and the views are spectacular. Nice outdoor seating. Just left before some live music began. 4 rating is really for the lobster appetizer we had. Did not have the steak during this visit.

Have dined at Ruth's Chris in other Cities. Park City location is good. Nice décor, solid food. We had a terrific server named Lisa who was nice, fun, helpful and made the experience great. One downside, feel the prices are a bit high for what you get.
(4)Megan M.

Waiter - excellent. Helpful, attentive. Ribeye steaks buttery, outstanding.

(3)Mark K.
Perfect ribeye! The lobster tail was OK but the prime steak was perfectly done and service was excellent too.
(5)Robyn C.
Yeeech!!!
(3)Tony K.

(4)Theresa N.
Excellent calamari. I'm finicky about that - but they have perfected it. However the ahi stack entrée was absolutely dripping in butter.disgusting. I get butter on steak. Most people expect that and you can order it dry. Buy my tuna I was told was sushi grade. I told the waiter I love sushi so the chef doesn't
(3)Geoff W.

(2)Kelly J.
(1)Deanne H.

(2)Landon E.
(1)Miles F.
(3)Connie N.
Great surf and turf...and spinach casserole...I love that it's served piping hot!!!!!!!!
(4)Heather L.
Perfect. Just perfect. Beginning with Khail, then Morgan at the bar, Dryke who is always happy, Jason who is an excellent server, the live musician, Robert Bartko, and every single person we encountered, we were treated wonderfully. Add to that a fantastic meal (Pprterhpuse for two, au gratin potatoes, tender asparagus, crime brûlée.... Mmmmmm. Everything was amazing! HIGHly recommended!
(5)Dawn C.
(4)Paul C.
(5)Mary N.
(4)Dave B.
As far as chain steakhouses go, Ruth's Chris satisfied me. In order to have a good experience I would recommend booking a few days in advance (especially during ski season), going in smaller parties (2-4), and not being in a hurry. Their salads are a nice precursor. They chop the lettuce into the perfect bite size chunks which I appreciated. I wish I had tried their lobster mac and cheese. I got a great bone-in steak that was cooked perfect to my order. They serve their steaks on a hot plate with a pool of melted butter. At first I wasn't so sure about that, but it did give a nice flavor. The dessert menu was adequate. My wife got a creme brûlée which was underwhelming. It was served in a very shallow dish that had too high of a burnt crust to cream ratio. I got their berries and cream dish. It was very refreshing and I would suggest you try it. If you are looking for the best steak you can find after a day in the mountains, there are some other options to try. If you're wanting a good meal with a familiar menu then Ruth's Chris will fit the bill.
(4)Raq D.
Excellent service. Hands down the best steak and lobster that I have ever had. I can't wait to come back for Mother's Day. You have to try the sizzling blue crab cakes. Yum!!! I also love the fact you can make a reservation online!
(5)April L.
(4)Clint M.
Brought my girl here, best filet she said she's ever had and I feel the same. She ordered medium rare, it came out way over done, medium well, i mentioned this and the waitress had a perfect butter popping medium rare filet back in less than 2 minutes.
(4)Stormforger D.
(4)Raec G.
(3)Eric L.
(1)Donald H.
(5)Amy B.
(5)James K.
Lunch was great! Had a delicious prime burger with yummy Cesar salad! Service was awesome!
(5)Heston Y.
Be prepared to pay the price. The food is worth it. The service is worth it. Went here for my 10 year anniversary and had a surprise for my wife. The staff at Ruth Chris was more that happy to accommodate me in what I needed.
(5)Brandon C.
(4)Larry M.

(3)John W.
(5)Bob S.
Got an e-mail from the GM on how sorry he was about my visit. Asked for my address so he could send us a gift certificate to come back... Guess he is trying to find a stamp.....

(5)Justin E.

6.3/5 stars

Excellent service. Hands down the best steak and lobster that I have ever had. I can't wait to come back for Mother's Day. You have to try the sizzling blue crab cakes. Yum!!! I also love the fact you can make a reservation online!
(5)April L.

What a wonderful restaurant!! My family and I were in Park City for 5 days and it happened to be our 33rd Anniversary! The restaurant has a very warm feeling to it, with a single guitar player who sang, creating very nice background music. Our server Marin was very attentive, friendly and very professional. My husband and son ordered the filet and my other son and I ordered the mixed grill. The mixed grill had a small petite filet, roasted chicken, roasted tomato and a crab cake. The steaks were cooked perfectly for all of us. We ordered three sides, shoestring potatoes, creamed spinach, and mushrooms. For dessert we had cream brûlée, bread pudding, fresh berries with cream and the chocolate explosion!! Everything was outstanding!! This is a great restaurant, but expensive. I would recommend this restaurant!!
(5)Greg D.
Tonight's meal was vintage Ruth's Chris. Everything was to perfection. The Steak was perfect the Salmon was perfect and the servers and staff were perfect as well. We will be back.
(5)Matt W.
RC is always pretty awesome. There is something awesome about the one in Park City though. I'll always go there over the one in Salt Lake...to date this is the best bone in filet mignon I've experienced. Get it!
(5)Eric C.
Some of the best food I've had in a long time! Everyone says that the service isn't so great here but I found it to be pretty nice. Could have just been the day we went though.
(5)Brian S.
(1)Enrique G.
Scott was an excellent waiter; proffesional and charismatic. He was very attentive and complimented the great quality of food for which the restaurant is rightly recognized.
(4)Jake Y.
I go here all the time with my family and it's just the perfect treat! Excellent steak and appetizers! Also great desserts and coffee. Definitely great for the night out!
(5)Tom F.
Ok... Mortons and The Palm are better. That being said, if you're in Park City, on an expense account, and want a decent steak - this will do the trick.
(3)Joan L.
(5)Jenny B.
(2)Dori Z.
(2)Eric L.
(1)Donald H.
(5)Amy B.
(5)Nissa A.
(5)Alan A.
(4)Adam B.
(3)Michael L.
Awesome place. The staff is amazing. Try the filet and french fries. The hotel in which the restaurant is located is super nice. Great bar for après ski cocktails.
(5)Kev C.
Hard to understand the bad reviews. We had dinner there tonight and the place was packed. Excellent food and service.
(5)Jason P.
This place is great! The atmosphere, food and service all lived up to (or exceeded) my expectations. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and paid special attention to my 5yr old to be sure she had a great time/meal. We will be back.
(5).Hon H.
No thanks.
(2)Andrew J.
(4)david h.
Have dined at Ruth's Chris in other Cities. Park City location is good. Nice décor, solid food. We had a terrific server named Lisa who was nice, fun, helpful and made the experience great. One downside, feel the prices are a bit high for what you get.
(4)David C.
Waiter - excellent. Helpful, attentive. Ribeye steaks buttery, outstanding.
(4)S. C.

(4)Diana G.

(1)Geoff C.
Ruth Chris puts out good steaks, cooked well...consistently. For me its nothing special, and I'd recommend a non-chain place like Prime. Crab cake and lobster tail were both very good so points for tasty non-steak items.
(3)Mark K.
Perfect ribeye! The lobster tail was OK but the prime steak was perfectly done and service was excellent too.
(5)Robyn C.
Yeeech!!!
(3)Tony K.
(2)Bing Z.
(3)Geoff W.
Very good food, good steaks and sides, pricey but good for special occasions.
(4)Mike B.
(2)Kelly J.
(1)Deanne H.

(2)Landon E.
(1)Miles F.
(3)Connie N.
Great surf and turf...and spinach casserole...I love that it's served piping hot!!!!!!!!
(4)Bob S.
Got an e-mail from the GM on how sorry he was about my visit. Asked for my address so he could send us a gift certificate to come back... Guess he is trying to find a stamp.....
(1)Nissa A.
(5)Ellie S.
(5)Justin E.
GREAT Steaks and food. Great atmosphere. Sides are smaller than they lead us to believe. Pricey.

(5)Brian S.

Scott was an excellent waiter; proffesional and charismatic. He was very attentive and complimented the great quality of food for which the restaurant is rightly recognized.
(4)Jake Y.
I go here all the time with my family and it's just the perfect treat! Excellent steak and appetizers! Also great desserts and coffee. Definitely great for the night out!
(5)Tom F.
Ok... Mortons and The Palm are better. That being said, if you're in Park City, on an expense account, and want a decent steak - this will do the trick.
(3)Joan L.

(5)Alan A.
(4)Adam B.

No thanks.
(2)Ronin E.

6.3/5 stars

(5)Dawn C.

(3)John W.
(4)david h.
Have dined at Ruth's Chris in other Cities. Park City location is good. Nice décor, solid food. We had a terrific server named Lisa who was nice, fun, helpful and made the experience great. One downside, feel the prices are a bit high for what you get.
(4)Megan M.

(4)Robyn C.
Yeeech!!!
(3)Jenna C.
(3)David C.
Waiter - excellent. Helpful, attentive. Ribeye steaks buttery, outstanding.

(3)Mark K.
Perfect ribeye! The lobster tail was OK but the prime steak was perfectly done and service was excellent too.

(3)Connie N.
Great surf and turf...and spinach casserole...I love that it's served piping hot!!!!!!!!

Pricey.

6.3/5 stars

Excellent service. Hands down the best steak and lobster that I have ever had. I can't wait to come back for Mother's Day. You have to try the sizzling blue crab cakes. Yum!!! I also love the fact you can make a reservation online!
(5)April L.

Get it!
(5)Eric C.
Some of the best food I've had in a long time! Everyone says that the service isn't so great here but I found it to be pretty nice. Could have just been the day we went though.
(5)Brian S.

Scott was an excellent waiter; proffesional and charismatic. He was very attentive and complimented the great quality of food for which the restaurant is rightly recognized.
(4)Jake Y.
I go here all the time with my family and it's just the perfect treat! Excellent steak and appetizers! Also great desserts and coffee. Definitely great for the night out!
(5)Tom F.
Ok... Mortons and The Palm are better. That being said, if you're in Park City, on an expense account, and want a decent steak - this will do the trick.
